Everything in the Marketing World happens more quickly today. That’s a reality and it’s a factor that is unlikely to change. You need to adapt to this. It is not good enough to try to deal with sales volume shortfalls using dated methods alone, such as price-cutting and spivving.

Also please question the long term effect of spivving (cash incentives). It may seem harmless, but it borders on bribery which is a major part of the overall corruption that has such a massive negative effect on the entire economy and is holding this nation back. Spivving should be an absolute last resort that is implemented with very clearly defined timing, rules and boundaries, otherwise it can unintentionally create toxic relationships that are difficult to turn around.
